Radar
Watch drugs, makers, markets and counties. Qope rechecks them against FDA and CMS data and flags what changed.
Open Radar -- in the sidebar under Workspace.
Radar is monitoring. You add things you care about; Qope rechecks them against FDA and CMS data on every visit and tells you what moved since you last looked.
Source data is cached for up to an hour, so two visits a minute apart will show the same figures.
What you can watch
| Kind | What is rechecked |
|---|---|
| Drug | Generic or biosimilar competition, contestability tier, ANDA listings, staged (tentatively approved) generics, protection runway and market-open date, active shortages, NADAC pricing, recalls |
| Maker | Listing count, distinct molecules, distinct brands, staged approvals, latest approval year |
| Market | A state plus specialty pair: provider count and Medicare prescriber count |
| County | Shortage-area (HPSA) designations and score, underserved-area (MUA) designations and IMU score |
Watch slots
| Plan | Slots per kind |
|---|---|
| Regular | 3 |
| Pro | 25 |
| Teams | 25 |
The cap applies per kind, so a Pro account can hold 25 drugs and 25 makers and 25 markets and 25 counties.
Adding a watch
- Drugs -- the Watch button on Drug Profile, Shortages Tracker and Patent Cliff rows.
- Makers -- from Drug Profile maker rows.
- Markets -- on the Providers table, filter to exactly one State and one Primary Specialty, then use Watch market in the header. With more than one value selected the button is disabled and says why.
- Counties -- from access and safety-net views.
- Or add any of them directly from the Add box on the Radar page.
Each watch can carry a short note.
Needs attention
The top of the page collects everything that changed since your last visit, per kind. Opening the page marks items as seen, so the next visit only shows genuinely new movement.
Tier 1 alerts
Five changes are treated as significant enough to raise an alert rather than a quiet diff:
| Alert | Trigger | Severity |
|---|---|---|
| First entrant | First generic (or first biosimilar) competition appears on record | Warning |
| Shortage entered |
