Usage and Limits

How credits and CSV exports are metered, where to see your consumption, and what happens at the limit.

Open Usage -- from the account menu, or by clicking the credit meter in the top bar.

What counts as a credit

Qope meters data access, not page views. One credit is consumed when a page reads live data from the intelligence backend:

  • Opening a registry table, changing filters, changing sort, or paging
  • Opening a record page
  • Opening an intelligence view (Drug Profile, Patent Cliff, Shortages, Insights, Territory Brief, Map, Safety-Net, EHR Intelligence)
  • Running an export
  • Refreshing or building a lead list

Pages that read only your own workspace data -- documentation, settings, billing, and the lead-list interface itself -- do not consume credits.

Allowances

PlanCredits per monthCSV exports per month
Regular10,000100
Pro250,000Unlimited
Teams1,000,000Unlimited

Allowances reset at the start of each billing period. The reset date is shown on the Usage page.

The usage page

Shows, for the current period:

  • Your plan and the period start and end dates
  • Credits used against the allowance, with a progress bar
  • CSV exports used against the allowance, where the plan has one
  • Your plan's limits side by side
  • An upgrade prompt if you are not on the top plan

The progress bar turns amber at 80 percent and red at 90 percent.

The credit meter in the topbar

The same figure is always visible in the topbar so you do not have to open the Usage page to check. Click it to go there.

What happens at the limit

Reaching the credit limit does not cancel your subscription and does not delete anything. Data pages stop loading and show a usage-limit screen with your current count, your limit, and an upgrade link. Workspace pages continue to work.

Access resumes automatically when the billing period rolls over, or immediately if you upgrade.

No active plan

An account with no active subscription is treated as having a zero allowance. Every data page shows the usage-limit screen. Upgrading restores access immediately.

How the counter works

Reservation is atomic. Two requests arriving at the same moment cannot both consume the last remaining credit, so the counter cannot overshoot your allowance under concurrency.

Notes on counting

  • A single page load can read several datasets and still count as one credit.
  • Some views intentionally meter more than once where they perform genuinely separate analytical work. This is deliberate.
  • Aggregate counts shown on the Home page and the database catalog page are free on every plan, including for premium datasets whose tables you cannot open.
