Radar Lists and Sharing
Group Radar watches into named lists, share a list with your team or a client, and turn it into a brief, a CSV file, calendar dates or a Monday email.
Open Radar -- the list bar sits above the Watch board.
A watch list is a named group of Radar watches: one per client, therapy area or project. Lists only group. A watch stays on your radar whether or not it is in a list, and one watch can sit in several lists. How watching itself works is covered in Radar.
What each plan includes

|---|---|---|---|
| Named lists, Add to list, Move or copy | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Export CSV, client brief, calendar dates | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Monday brief email per list | No | Yes | Yes |
| Read-only client link | No | Yes | Yes |
| Share with team | No | No | Yes |
Creating and managing lists
- Click New list, type a name (up to 80 characters) and confirm. You can keep up to 30 lists, each with a different name.
- Click a list to select it. With a list selected you can Rename it or Delete list. Deleting asks first and only removes the grouping: the watches stay on your radar.
- Click All to go back to every watch.
Each chip shows how many watches the list holds. A list you share with your team carries a people icon.
The list switcher
Selecting a list filters the whole page to its watches: the status tiles, every Watch board tab, What changed, Shared makers, the client brief, the calendar file and the CSV export. The board title changes from Watch board / All to Watch board / and the list name.
The page address keeps the selected list, so you can bookmark it or send yourself straight to it. The Activity tab and the watch counters in the add box always cover all your watches.
Putting watches into lists
- While adding -- with a list selected, anything you add from the add box or with Paste a list joins that list as well as your radar.
- Add to list (with All selected) -- opens Add drugs to a list. Pick a target list (or create one with New list), filter the drugs, switch between Not in a list and All, tick the drugs and click Add to the list.
- Move or copy (with a list selected) -- opens Move or copy from that list. Copy keeps the drugs in the current list too; Move takes them out of it. Drugs stay on your radar either way.
- One watch at a time -- expand any row (drug, maker, market, county or view). Its Lists line shows the lists it belongs to; Add to a list opens a menu with a checkbox per list, and the x on a list name removes it from that list.
Add to list and Move or copy work on watched drugs. Use the Lists line on a row for makers, markets, counties and views.
Export CSV
Export CSV in the Watch board header downloads the watched drugs in the current selection. With a status tile filter on, only the filtered drugs are exported and the button reads Export with the count.
Each row carries: drug and type, contestability tier, generic or biosimilar makers, ANDA listings or licensed biosimilars, staged generics and staged combination products, first generic approval year, protection end date (and whether it is estimated), months to protection end, NADAC price details with the generic price and saving, shortage status and dosage forms, recall count and worst class, Medicare Part B spending, the generic price as a share of brand two years after entry, brands, the changes since your last visit and your note.
Client brief
Client brief (or Brief for the list name, when a list is selected) opens a print-ready brief of the current selection:
- The list name, the date it was prepared and its sources (FDA Orange Book, Purple Book, drug shortages and recalls, and CMS NADAC).
- Summary figures: drugs watched, changes, high impact, in shortage, protection ends in 24 months, and drugs with a Class I recall.
- What changed since your last review, high impact first, with the Why it matters lines.
- Watched drugs: a table of Drug, Competition, Price, Protection and Status.
- A count of the other watches (makers, markets, counties and table views); their changes are included above.
Check it, then click Print or save as PDF. Your notes are not included.
Protection dates in your calendar
When drugs in the selection have a protection end date still ahead, an Add N dates to calendar button appears. It downloads a calendar file (.ics) with one all-day event per drug on its protection end date, marked "(estimated)" where the date is estimated. Import it into Outlook, Google or Apple calendars.
Shared makers
The Shared makers tab of the Watch board lists generic and biosimilar makers that are marketed or staged in two or more drugs of the current selection. Staged entries are marked "(staged)": the maker's generic passed FDA review but is not marketed yet. The tab count shows how many makers overlap.
Monday brief email (Pro and Teams)
With a list selected, tick Email me this brief on Mondays. Every Monday you get an email for that list with:
- the watches in the list that changed since your last Radar visit, and
- the drugs whose protection ends within 24 months,
plus a link that opens the list on Radar, where you can print the full brief. The email goes out even when nothing changed, and says so. A list with no watches is skipped.
The checkbox shows on every plan, but the emails are sent only on Pro and Teams. Turning off Weekly radar digest in Settings under Email notifications also stops these briefs.
Share a list with your team (Teams)
With a list selected, tick Share with team. Teammates on your team account then see the list on their own Radar as a dashed chip showing the list name, your first name and its size.
When a teammate selects it:
- Their board shows only their own watches that are in your list.
- A banner says how many of its watches they already follow, and Add the other N to my radar adds the rest in one click, within their own watch limits.
- Changes are measured against their own last review, not yours.
Teammates cannot edit your list, and your notes are never shared. Untick Share with team to stop sharing. For what else a team shares, see Teams and Members.
Client link (Pro and Teams)
A client link is a read-only web page of one list that works without a Qope login.
- Select the list and click Client link. The link is created and copied to your clipboard.
- Copy client link copies it again.
- Stop link turns it off. The old link stops working at once; creating a new one gives a new address.
The shared page, titled Shared watch list, shows the list name, your account name, the date it was checked and its sources, then:
- summary figures: drugs, in shortage, protection ends in 24 months, and drugs with a Class I recall
- Protection ending within 24 months, with the generic price benchmark where there is one
- Watched drugs: Drug, Competition, Price, Protection and Status
The page covers drugs only; other watches in the list are counted but not shown. Your notes and change history are never on it, and it is marked so search engines do not index it.
