Interface Tour
The sidebar, the topbar, page layouts, and the conventions used across every Qope screen.
The sidebar
The left sidebar is the map of the product. The Qope logo at the top takes you back to Home. Below it, items are grouped into blocks.
Application

|---|---|
| Home | Search, live counts for every data domain, your lead lists, Radar watches and pins |
| Documentation | This documentation, opened in a new tab |
Workspace
| Item | What it is |
|---|---|
| Radar | Watches on drugs, makers, provider markets, counties and table views, with every change flagged. See Radar |
| Lead Lists | Records you saved, worked as a pipeline with statuses, notes and follow-up dates. See Lead Lists |
| NPI Match | Upload a clinician list, match each row to an NPI, save the matches as a lead list. Pro and Teams. See NPI Match |

Databases
All Databases opens the catalog page. Below it the registry tables are grouped:
- People -- Providers, Prov Summary, Prov Services, Prov Drugs
- Organizations -- Facilities, Laboratories, ACO Networks, Certified Health IT, NHSC Sites, Health Centers, EHR Linkage

Prov Summary, Prov Services, Prov Drugs, Facilities, Laboratories and ACO Networks are premium tables and need Pro or Teams. See the Dataset Catalog.
Markets
| Item | What it is |
|---|---|
| Territory Brief | One state on one page: who spends, who prescribes brand, where the beds are, which ACOs operate and where care is short |
| Map | State-level market analytics with layers and therapy lenses. Pro and Teams |
| Insights | 35+ prepared ranking questions over Medicare provider, facility and ACO data |
| Cohorts | One saved set of states, specialties and drugs that every supporting page applies. See Cohorts |
| Safety-Net Intel | Health centers, who operates them, and where capacity is stretched thinnest |
| EHR Intelligence | Which certified EHR systems hospitals run, vendor concentration and migrations |
Team
| Item | What it is |
|---|---|
| Hub | Your team's shared library, team radar, record notes and claims, seats and territory, and recent activity. Teams. See Team Hub |
| Team Settings | Team members and invitations. Teams |
Count badges
Three sidebar items show a small count when something needs you:
- Radar -- how many of your watches have changes you have not marked seen.
- Lead Lists -- overdue follow-ups on leads in your own lists, not counting leads marked Won or Lost.
- Hub (Teams) -- notes and claims your teammates added, plus territory assigned to you, since your last Hub visit.
When the sidebar is collapsed, a count becomes a blue dot on the icon.
Locked items
A lock icon means your plan does not include that item. Clicking it opens a Subscription Required dialog naming the plans that include it, with a View Plans button that opens Billing. A table group whose tables are all locked is greyed out with a lock. See Plans and Access.
Sidebar behaviour
- The table groups under Databases expand and collapse one at a time. The group containing your current page opens automatically, and the active item scrolls into view.
- The sidebar toggle at the left of the top bar collapses the sidebar to icons only. Clicking a table group while it is collapsed reopens the sidebar on that group.
Sidebar footer
- Credits -- your credits used against your plan allowance for the current billing period. The bar turns amber at 80 percent and red at 90 percent. See Usage and Limits.
- Profile menu -- your name. It opens Home, Documentation (in a new tab), Billing, Usage, Settings, Feedback, the Theme switch and Sign out.
The top bar
- Sidebar toggle and the breadcrumbs for the page you are on.
- Search all -- ask a question or search drugs, hospitals, ACOs, specialties, states, IDs, phone numbers, provider and facility records, lead lists and pages. Results are grouped by type (for example Answers, Exact ID, Drugs, Hospitals, Providers, Search in tables, My lead lists, Pages), and provider name matches are ranked by prescribing volume. A result your plan does not include carries a Pro or Teams tag. On Home this box is replaced by the large search box at the top of the page.
- Documentation button -- named after the page you are on, for example "Radar documentation". It opens the matching docs page in a new tab.
- Cohort scope -- on pages that support cohorts, a button showing your active cohort. Open it to switch cohorts or click Manage. See Cohorts.
- Theme -- light, dark or system.
- Notification bell -- see below.
The notification bell
The bell collects in-app notifications:
- Radar changes -- every change on a watched item, on every plan. Each entry shows the watch, the change (old value to new value) and the names it affects, and links to the evidence.
- Team activity -- when a teammate shares a lead list with your team or adds a record to a shared list.
- Billing -- a payment that did not go through, a subscription that is now active, or a trial that ends within three days.
- Announcements from the Qope team.
Page anatomy
Drug Profile, Patent Cliff and Shortages Tracker share one layout:
- Header card -- the page title, one sentence stating what the page answers and what it is sourced from, and status pills.
- The read -- a short plain-language summary of where things stand right now.
- KPI strip -- headline numbers along the bottom of the header card.
- Tabs -- the tab strip sits directly on top of the first box of the tab content. A tab can carry a count; an amber count means something needs attention, and a spinner shows while a count loads.
- Tab content -- the actual analysis.
Switching tabs never scrolls the page. On long tabbed pages a scroll-to-top button appears once you scroll down.
Radar, Territory Brief, Map and Insights have their own layouts, described on their own pages.
Tables
Every registry table has one toolbar row with search, Filters, Watch, Save view, Export and the primary Save as lead list button, with icons for pins, the frozen header and keyboard shortcuts at the end. Column headers stay pinned under the top bar while you scroll. See Working with Tables.
Conventions used everywhere
Links. In data views, text that opens another record or a filtered table is blue. On Home, clickable text is bold, and a small table icon marks links that open a table. Links show a spinner while the next page loads.
Tooltips carry the methodology. Hover any figure with a dotted or muted style. Tooltips state what the number counts, what it excludes, and why a value might be missing. This is where the caveats live.
A dash means no data, not zero. Qope never prints 0 where the source is silent.
Show all. Long lists show the first rows with a button to show the rest, rather than paginating.
Open in full table. Some analysis views, such as Shortages Tracker, link back to the underlying registry table with the equivalent filter applied. Where the table cannot express the same filter, the button is replaced with a greyed "Not filterable in full table" chip and a tooltip explaining why -- see Data Caveats.
Export buttons appear on many analysis panels as well as on tables. A panel export downloads the rows that panel shows.
Walkthroughs
The first time you open Drug Profile, a database table, or Radar once you watch something, a short walkthrough points out the main controls. Use Back, Next, Skip or Got it; Esc closes it. To see the walkthroughs again, open Settings from the profile menu and click Reset tutorials under Product tutorials in the Workspace section.
Keyboard and mobile
- Ctrl K (Cmd K on a Mac) focuses the search box on any page, including Home. Esc closes the results.
- In tables, arrow keys move between cells once a cell is focused. The keyboard icon in the table toolbar lists every shortcut, from copying a selection to finding text on the page.
- On a phone, the sidebar and top bar are replaced by a menu button at the top of the screen that lists every sidebar section. Locked items keep their lock.
