FAQ

About the Platform

What is QOPE?

QOPE is a healthcare reference data platform that structures publicly available regulatory, research, and professional datasets. We consolidate sources like ClinicalTrials.gov, FDA databases, and provider registries into a unified, queryable layer with standardized schemas and stable identifiers.

What datasets does QOPE include?

QOPE includes 48 datasets across 7 categories: People (providers, investigators), Organizations (hospitals, pharma companies), Products (drugs, devices), Research (clinical trials, publications), Regulatory (FDA approvals, adverse events), Reference (disease codes, drug interactions), and Commercial (pricing, formularies).

How is this different from accessing public sources directly?

QOPE standardizes schemas, resolves entities (so "Mass General" and "Massachusetts General Hospital" are recognized as the same), links records across datasets, and maintains version history. This eliminates manual integration work.

Data & Updates

How often is data updated?

Update frequency varies by source: clinical trials update daily, provider data weekly, pricing data monthly. Each dataset page shows the last update timestamp and refresh schedule.

Where does the data come from?

All data comes from public sources including FDA, CMS, NIH, ClinicalTrials.gov, NPPES, SEC EDGAR, and EMA. Every record includes source URLs and extraction timestamps. QOPE structures public data — we don't create or infer information.

How is data quality validated?

We measure completeness (% of expected records), consistency (entity resolution accuracy), and lineage (source traceability). Quality metrics and known limitations are published on each dataset page.

Access & Usage

How do I access QOPE data?

Three ways: Explorer (browser interface for search and discovery), API (programmatic access with rate limits by plan), and Exports (bulk downloads in CSV/JSON/Parquet). All methods access the same data.

What are the API rate limits?

Regular: 1,000 API calls/month. Pro: 25,000 API calls/month. Teams: 100,000 API calls/month. Usage resets at the start of each billing cycle.

Can I export data for internal use?

Yes. Pro and Teams plans include unlimited exports in CSV, JSON, or Parquet formats. Regular includes 100 exports per month. Exports can be integrated into your data warehouse or analytical systems.

Pricing & Plans

Can I try QOPE before buying?

Yes. Regular and Pro plans include a 2-day free trial with full feature access. Cancel anytime during the trial period.

What's included in each plan?

Regular ($100/month or $1,000/year): Core datasets (regulatory, trials, providers, drugs), 1,000 API calls/month, 100 exports/month, single-user license, email support (48-hour response). Pro ($1,000/month or $10,000/year): All datasets (core + premium), 25,000 API calls/month, unlimited exports, bulk search and advanced filtering, single-user license, priority email support (24-hour response). Teams ($4,750/month or $45,000/year): All datasets, 100,000 API calls/month, unlimited exports, 5 user licenses included (up to 15 total), dedicated Slack channel support, assigned account manager, priority feature requests.

How does per-seat pricing work on the Teams plan?

The Teams plan includes 5 user seats at no extra cost. If your team needs more, you can add up to 10 additional seats at $750/seat/month ($7,500/seat/year). The maximum team size is 15 users. When you invite a member beyond the 5 free seats, you will see a confirmation with the cost before proceeding. Charges are prorated to your current billing cycle.

What happens when I remove a team member?

When you remove a team member, their seat is locked until the end of your current billing period to prevent abuse from rotating members. The per-seat charge will be reduced at the start of your next billing cycle. Locked seats still count toward your seat limit until the billing period ends.

Compliance & Limitations

Does QOPE process patient data or PHI?

No. QOPE only uses publicly available, de-identified data. We don't process Protected Health Information (PHI) or patient records. This is a reference data platform for research and analysis, not clinical data.

What does QOPE NOT provide?

QOPE does not provide medical advice, regulatory consulting, financial recommendations, or clinical decision support. We structure public reference data for research and intelligence — users must validate information for regulatory submissions or clinical decisions.
