Drug Profile rebuilt around search and signals

A new hero search with signal boards on the Drug Profile landing, plus a large batch of accuracy fixes across pricing, protection and safety panels.

The Drug Profile landing page was rebuilt as a hero search with signal boards, so the page is useful before you even type a drug name.

Alongside the redesign, we shipped a large accuracy pass across the whole profile:

  • Headline prices now anchor to the exact drug you searched, and price charts plot that drug's own series instead of a sibling brand's.
  • Protection runways read every listed patent and exclusivity date, and discontinued listings no longer set the runway.
  • Drug name matching uses word boundaries, so a search no longer picks up unrelated molecules that merely contain the same letters.
  • Safety panels say when data is missing instead of presenting an empty result as a clean record.
  • Medicaid figures read the latest reported quarter, and recall and shortage dates sort correctly across years.
